Monday morning – Clemson Orientation found us greeting the new students bright and early.  It’s so entertaining to see all the new excited students and parents.

Remember Anne’s transmission?  She dropped it in Cincinnati and she’s been without a car for a week.

Well, that brave 25 year old girl got herself to the car dealership.  She negotiated a good deal on a new car ALL BY HERSELF and drove out with a Mazda CX-3.  I’m so proud of her.  I’m trying to imagine myself doing that at 25 years old.  Sometimes my kids just make my heart sigh.

There are days where I have faith in the future of the world.  Seeing the new Clemson students and watching my child navigate the world, well, today was one of those days.
